MS student, Engineering
Hello!
I am a master's student focusing on the implementation of emerging technologies in engineering design. I have previously worked in product development in Building Technologies, Virtual-Reality (VR) products, and in the context of social innovation for the Autism Treatment Center (ATC) of Dallas.
Motivated to return to school by the exciting, recent developments in machine learning and their potential for implementation in the design process for engineering - I aim to focus my research and learning around these areas.
Dylan, Emma, Hannah, Shirin, Sid, Songyun, Vafa, Liz and Empower Lab collaborators attended the 2024 ACM (Association of Computing Machinery) CHI conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems in Honolulu, at the Hawaiʻi Convention Center on the island of Oʻahu. This is the premier international conference of Human-Computer Interaction.
Lab members engaged in the conference in a variety of ways:
Shout out to Sid for the graphic design!
Led by Sid Patil, the Empower Lab will host a game day on December 5, 2023. More details about this event other Winterim activities are available here: https://engineering.dartmouth.edu/events/thayer-winterim-2023
